What does the weekend look like?

The Language and Lounge Weekend offers you an immersion in the English language throughout the entire weekend. In a peaceful environment, you actively surround yourself with English, from the moment of arrival until departure. You will participate in various language activities, interactive sessions, and meaningful conversations. As a group, you will spend a lot of time together, but there are also moments for relaxation if you need them.

Below is an overview of what you can expect.

FRIDAY
We expect you between 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM at the Klooster van Dalfsen. After you have checked into your room, there will be a welcome drink, and you will meet the trainer and the other participants. During dinner, you will get to know each other better through games. At 7:30 PM, there will be an evening program.

SATURDAY
After a hopefully restful night, you have until 9:00 AM to have breakfast. Then, as a group, you will have various language activities and breaks until lunch. In the afternoon, there will be a short outdoor activity, and you will have a few hours of free time (e.g., to visit the charming town of Dalfsen or enjoy the nearby nature). Dinner is early in the evening at a cozy Grand Cafe within walking distance of the Klooster. Upon return, there will be an evening program.

SUNDAY
After breakfast, there will be various language activities. We also try to accommodate those for whom Sunday is a reflective moment (after all, we are in a monastery). After lunch, there is a concluding gathering until 2:00 PM, after which the weekend will come to an end, and we hope to see you return home full of new enthusiasm and inspiration.

Program
You will receive the final detailed program with timings on Friday during the evening program. The trainer will also provide an explanation then.
